El Fogonero is a small family run distillery located in Amatitan, in the Lowlands of Jalisco. The family performs all stages of the production process including the making and labeling of bottles, as they have been producing high-end tequila for over 4 generations!

We entered our El Fogonero 4 year aged Extra-Anejo in 2018 and won the highest award possible, a Platinum medal and "Best Of Class” Extra-Anejo.
El Fogonero's Extra-Anejo Tequila won a Silver Medal in the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The SFWSC is considered one of the most prestigious spirits competitions in the world. Products awarded a Silver Medal are outstanding in their category as they demonstrate refinement, finesse, and complexity. They are among the best examples in their particular category of Extra-Anejo Tequila.

El Fogonero 9 Year Aged Reserve Extra-Anejo
As part of a special project we aged 30 barrels of our tequila for over 9 years in charred American oak barrels previously used to age Canadian whiskey. With extremely limited production capacity only 1,000 bottles will be released for sale to the public, each bottle numbered and personally signed by the head of the family and master distiller Don Jesus Correa. This ultra-luxurious and elegant tequila imparts tasting notes of warm oak, roasted agave, and creme brûlée. A rare and exceptional tequila for the true tequila aficionado. This exotic tequila comes beautifully packaged in a gorgeous collectors box that tells the El Fogonero story and shares the history behind this family brand that has been producing high-end tequilas for over 4 generations.
